Twice a Blessing
When Chuck and Lisa Cwiklinski’s twin sons turned one years old, they noticed something was off when the boys weren’t meeting the usual milestones. It was then that the doctors told the parents that their sons, Justin and Cody, had cerebral palsy. Now, after 14 years, Justin and Cody have overcome several obstacles their doctor said was impossible. As both twins progress through Cerebral Palsy, Justin has moved at a faster pace, and is able to go to a public school while excelling in academics and participating in extra-curriculars such as baseball while his brother attends a separate school for kids with disabilities. This story documents the relationship between Justin and Cody as they continue to progress through this difficult disease at different paces.
